HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION? You must have a valid Military ID, a valid Common Access Card (CAC), or be able to provide a Department of Defense (DOD) ID number for verification of eligibility. DD214 FORMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. All reservation requests are initially placed on the Guest Quarters waitlist. Approximately 1.5 months prior to your requested dates, you will receive an email notifying you whether a unit is available. You will have 24 hours to respond to this email. If a response is not received within that time frame, your request will be voided and we will continue working through the waitlist. If you choose to proceed, a payment link will be emailed to you. You will then have 48 hours to submit payment. If payment is not received within that period, your request will be voided and we will resume working through the waitlist. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Once your payment has been received and processed, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Call the MWR office at 718-354-4407 or email uscgsectornymwr@gmail.com to be added to the Guest Quarters Waitlist.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO STAY? WITH VALID MILITARY ID, Authorized patrons for Coast Guard Guest Quarters include: US Coast Guard members and their families Active Duty servicemembers and their families Surviving spouses and their family members (18 years of age or older with ID card) Reserves/National Guard and their families Retired Military and their families International Military and their families Department of Defense civilians and their families and U.S. Public Health Servicemembers To confirm eligibility or for additional information, please call the MWR office at 718-354-4407 or email uscgsectornymwr@gmail.com.
IS THERE A PRIORITY RANKING FOR BOOKING? Yes, Active Duty Coast Guard servicemembers have top priority.
HOW DO I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY RESERVATIONS? Cancellations made up to 48 hours of your check-in date will incur a $35.00 fee. If a cancellation is made less than 48-hours to check-in, you will be charged 50% of your full stay. We cannot offer refunds for early check-outs. Cancellations or changes to your reservation can be made by calling the MWR office at 718-354-4407.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT?
Check-in after 1500 hours. Check-out by 1100 hours.
Early check-ins and late check-outs are determined on a case to case basis and MUST be approved by an MWR associate beforehand.
IS MY PET ALLOWED? NO PETS ALLOWED
HOW DO I CHECK IN AFTER CLOSING OF BUSINESS HOURS? Skip the trip to our office. The morning of your stay you will receive a check-in email with a code specific to you for the lockbox on the unit's front door. Enter your code for access to the key to your townhome. The unit key must be returned to the lockbox and the code set to "0000" when checking out.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME UPON CHECK-OUT? Please complete the following: Strip the beds and place ONLY USED LINENS in the hallway. Please include blankets and towels. Clean all dishes and utensils used. Return cleaned dishes and utensils to appropriate drawers and cabinets. Wipe down kitchen counters and any appliances used. Sweep Kitchen floor and vacuum all rooms. Empty out vacuum. Take out trash and recyclables. The bins are in the parking lot. Ensure TV remotes and AC remotes are placed on top of matching unit. Ensure both exterior doors are locked. Put the unit key back in lockbox and set it to "0000". Failure to comply with will result in a $30.00 cleaning FEE. Any damages or missing items will be assessed and charged. Failure to comply with Guest Quarters policies may result in the loss of future rental privileges.
HOW DO I GET BASE ACCESS? A reservation at the Coast Guard Guest Quarters DOES NOT constitute access of Coast Guard Sector New York.
